Shirley Ann Burnside 87 of Plattsburg Missouri died Wednesday October 24, 2018 at a Kansas City Missouri Hospital. Born on September 28, 1931 in Liberty Missouri to Martin and Lillian Sue (Slaughter) Gantt. She was a high school graduate. In 1954 she married John R Burnside, together they made their home in Plattsburg and owned and operated several businesses in Plattsburg.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents,sister Audrey June Kelley and 6 brothers.
Survivors include her husband John of the home; their children Ronald Burnside of Plattsburg; Ricky Burnside of Plattsburg; Robin (Robert) Nave of Kearney MO., Roxanne Burnside of Kansas City Mo; Roddie Burnside of Plattsburg and Rae Burnside of Kansas City MO. Numerous Grandchildren and great grandchildren. 5 sisters Marsha Grayson, Florine "Boo" Gantt, Peggy Oliver, Mary Black and Lillian Stanton; 2 brothers Frederick "Chuck" Gantt.
