Sherri D. James 67 of Plattsburg Missouri died Friday April 1, 2022, at Liberty Hospital.  Born on February 27, 1955, in Bethany Missouri to Theodore and Audrey (Fletchall) Baker.  She was a high school graduate and attended college.  She worked for Hewitt-Packard as a project manager for 20 years.  She also was worked as secretary for the Broadway United Methodist Church in Plattsburg and attended the Bethany Christian Church Plattsburg.  She married Richard C. James Jr., on June 30, 1995.

She was preceded in death by her parents and stepson Jason D. Murphy.

Survivors include her husband Richard of the home; brothers Mitch (Luwanna) Baker of Tenn., Ronnie (Anna) Baker of California Missouri; Stepson John Bryan Murphy; two grandchildren Cassidy and Katlynn Murphy.
