Sharon Kay (Mick) McQuerrey, 73 of Plattsburg Mo passed away on Friday August 2, 2019 at St Luke's North Hospital in Kansas City.
Sharon was born December 1, 1945 in Lathrop Mo., to Marvin and Dorothy (Mote) Mick. Sharon graduated from Lathrop High School in 1963.
On July 23, 1966 she married her forever sweetheart, Gary McQuerrey.
She was a member of the First Christian Church. She was an office manager at the Cameron Development Center helping consumers with special needs
Sharon's passions were most definitely Gary and then her family, her vacations and her rather profitable trips to the casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law, Edna McQuerrey and sister-in-law Marcia Downey.
Survivors include her husband Gary of the home; son, Shannon, his wife, Lisa and Sharon's grandchildren, Grace and Jack McQuerrey all of Chandler, AZ; a brother, Eddie (Sherry) Mick of Dallas, TX; a dear cousin, David Mick of Kent, WA; her more than sisters by marriage, Joyce Edwards and Kathy Atchity of St Joseph and Lisa Morgan of Kingston, MO; numerous family members and friends.
A celebration of life will be held 3PM Tuesday Aug. 6, 2019 at the Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service Plattsburg. The family will gather with friends from 1:30 -3pm Tuesday at the Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Cameron Development Center 202 West 2nd Cameron Missouri 64429
