Robert Scearce Dedman 90 of Plattsburg died Saturday Nov. 24, 2018 at his residence. Born on May 20, 1928 in Plattsburg to Scearce A. and Gladys (Handley) Dedman. Bob was a graduate of Plattsburg High School and a farmer. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Plattsburg and a Veteran of the United States Army. Bob also drove a school bus for the Plattsburg School District.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters Louise Milliken and Ann Ferguson.
Survivors include his wife Avanell of the home; 3 children Steven E. Dedman of Plattsburg Missouri; Laurie "Ron" Martz of Gladstone Missouri and Stanley "Cheri" Dedman of Plattsburg Missouri; 4 grandchildren Sean and Jon Martz; Stuart and Curtis Dedman, and 4 great grandchildren.
Healing farewell service will be held 2:00Pm Thursday Nov. 29, 2018 at the Bailey Cox Funeral Home. Interment, Green Lawn Cemetery Plattsburg. The family will gather with friends at 12:30pm until service time at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial gifts to the American Heart Association.
