Ralph Bloomer Jr

Billy Ralph Bloomer Jr.,83, Kansas City, Missouri passed away Wednesday February 11,  2026.

Ralph was born on January 8, 1943  to Ralph Sr. and Agnes (Barnes) Bloomer in Ava, Missouri.

He worked for and retired from O.H. Gerry Optical. Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, his beloved wife Judith (Walters) Bloomer, sister Laresa Hockensmith and grandson Zachary Bloomer.

He is survived by his children, Chris (Esther) Bloomer, Clark (Cheryl) Bloomer and Kelly Love, ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Other survivors include his siblings, Dennis (Lanette) Bloomer, Richard (Susan) Bloomer, Marci May, Zoletta Wright, Vanessa (Robert) Hackett and many extended family and friends.

Ralph lived a quiet life, finding contentment in life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing and camping with his family. He had a special fondness for animals, especially his cats.

A visitation will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday February 18, 2026 at the Bailey and Cox Family Funeral Home Plattsburg, Missouri followed by his burial at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Plattsburg, Missouri.
