Michael "Mickey" Owen McClelland

Michael “Mickey” Owen McClelland 69 of Plattsburg passed away Friday August 28, 2026, at a Liberty Missouri hospital. Born May 13, 1957, in Plattsburg to Bob and Mary Jane McClelland. Mickey was a graduate of Plattsburg High School class of 1976.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Michaela Nicole McClelland, granddaughter Abby McClelland.

Survivors include his son Cole (Anna) McClelland of Lathrop Missouri; Companion Rose Aker of Kearney Missouri; sister Cindy (Brian) Carter of Plattsburg Missouri; three grandchildren Lexi, Mya and Brycen; 3 bonus grandchildren and nephew Derek (Shelly) Carter and children of Smithville Missouri.

Graveside service 1:00pm Saturday September 5, 2026, at Calvary Cemetery Plattsburg. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
