Mark DeMint 61 of Excelsior Springs Missouri formally of Plattsburg died Wednesday June 19, 2019 at a local healthcare center. Born on Jan. 21, 1958 in St Joseph Missouri to Henry P. and Myrtle C. (Watkins) DeMint. He was a graduate of Plattsburg High School and worked as a certified nursing assistant until his health began to fail.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Ramona Kelley DeMint, two brothers Mickey and David DeMint.
Survivors include his children Dawn (Cody) McMillian of Kearney MO; Jeremy DeMint of Lathrop MO; sisters Sharon Slatinsky of San Angelo TX; Patti Schnetzler of Beacon NY; Debbie Ramsey of St Joseph MO; Kathy Richardson of Leavenworth KS; his brother Warren DeMint of Plattsburg MO; and 5 grandchildren.
