Marion L. Lizar, 96 of Plattsburg Mo., died Friday June 4, 2021 at a local healthcare center.  Born on June 18, 1924 in Plattsburg Mo to Paul W. and Beatrice (Dennis) Anderson.  Marion was a graduate of Plattsburg High School and a member of the First Baptist Church Plattsburg.  She retired as a clerk from JCPenney's after 40 years of service.

On May 11, 1947 she married Robert W. Lizar, he preceded her in death on Dec.17, 2002.  Also preceding her in death are her parents, her brother Donald Anderson and his wife Patricia; brother and sister-in-law Jack D. and Joann Lizar.

Survivors include her son Jack T. Lizar of Trimble MO; daughter Pamela Lizar of Plattsburg MO; Grandson Travis (Courtney) Lizar of Smithville MO; great grandsons Deacon and Jack; her nieces and nephews Mary Lizar, Lisa (John) Barber, John (Gabby) Lizar and numerous cousins and friends.

Healing farewell services will be held 2:00PM Friday June 11, 2021 at the Bailey Cox Funeral Home Plattsburg Mo.  Interment will be in the Greenlawn Cemetery Plattsburg.  The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  The family suggests memorial gifts to the Plattsburg Senior Center.  Arrangements Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service Plattsburg.  Online guestbook and obituary at www.baileycox.com .
