Louvenia C. "Bonnie" Harris 95 of Plattsburg Missouri died Tuesday Jan 30, 2018 at Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph Mo. Born on April 16, 1922 in Trimble Missouri to Edward Washington and Katherine Ethel Maude (Bailey) Harris. She was a high school graduate and a member of the African Methodist Episcopal Church in Plattsburg. Aunt Bonnie as she was known to the community of Plattsburg worked for the Clinton county R-lll School district for many years as a kitchen aid. Bonnie was also famous for her popcorn balls at Halloween.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents; Sister Julia E. Greene; 4 brothers JD, RV, Irving, and Doyle Harris.
Survivors include four generations of nieces and nephews.
Healing farewell services will be held 1:00PM Monday Feb. 5, 2018 at the Bailey & Cox Funeral Home Plattsburg Missouri. Interment Shady Grove Cemetery south of Plattsburg. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Plattsburg Food Pantry.
