Lindell W." Lindy" Beckett 89 of Lathrop Missouri died Saturday July 6, 2019 at a Gower Missouri Healthcare center. Born on March 13, 1930 in Bourbon Missouri to Rolla and Noble (Peek) Beckett.
He was a high school graduate and a Veteran of the United States Army. Lindy was a self-employed auto mechanic. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Lathrop Missouri.
Lindy was preceded in death by his parents; wife Dorella Steelman Beckett; brother Royce and three sisters Norma, Bonnie, and Vera.
Survivors include his son Michael and his wife Beth Beckett of Lathrop Missouri; three grandchildren Maggie, Sarah, and Ray. His brother Dale Beckett and his two dogs Bo & Bingo.
Healing farewell service will be held 11:00am Wednesday July 10, 2019 at the First Christian Church of Lathrop Missouri. Interment will be in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Salem Missouri on Friday July 12, 2019 at 1:00pm. The family suggests memorial gifts to the First Christian Church of Lathrop for church camp.
