John Roger McNeel 79 of Kansas City Missouri died Monday Dec. 23, 2019 at a Kansas City Healthcare center. Born on Nov. 15, 1940 in St Joseph Missouri to Gene and Christine M.(Stephens) McNeel. John was a graduate of Plattsburg High School and a College graduate. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Plattsburg. John worked as a manager for Trans World Airlines for 40 years and American Airlines for 7 years before he retired.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his brother William S. McNeel (Katherine) of Kansas City Missouri; Nephews Mark McNeel and Scott McKown; niece Amy Kane; great nephews and niece Ryan and Lacy McNeel, Tyler McKown and Cameron Kane.
Healing farewell services will be held 1PM Saturday Dec. 28, 2019 at the Bailey Cox Funeral Home. The family will gather with friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
