Jannetta Lynn Sutton, 66, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed peacefully from this life on Thursday, March 26, 2020 at the home of her daughter in Plattsburg, Missouri. Her family was by her side as she went to be with the Lord. She was born on March 14, 1954 in Blytheville, Arkansas to Tom and Robbie (Greer) Reid. She was a graduate of Blytheville High School in 1972. She was married to her first husband, the late Benny Marr from 1972 – 1975. Together they had their daughter Catherine Gerke (Marr). Following her first marriage, she met and married Richard White, USAF, currently of Hollister, California, from 1977-1985. During her marriage to Mr White, she spent time as a home maker and raised her daughter. In 1988, she married her third husband, Eddie Sutton of Blytheville, Arkansas, and together they had a daughter Lisa Sutton, of Kansas City, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents. Her survivors include her two daughters, Catherine Gerke and husband Jeff, of Plattsburg, MO and Lisa Sutton of Kansas City, MO
Jannetta was very proud of her family, and enjoyed spending time with her daughters and her friends. She leaves behind fond memories for her children to cherish.
Private graveside farewell services and interment will be held at Calvary Cemetery in Plattsburg, Missouri on Monday, March 30, 2020. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts be given to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements have been provided by Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service of Plattsburg, MO.
