James Edward Croney 72 of Plattsburg MO. died Tuesday Feb.27, 2024 at his home.  Born on March 13, 1951, in Gainesville, Mo., to Noel E. and Virginia L. (Collins) Croney.  James was a high school graduate and a truck driver.  He attended First Baptist Church of Plattsburg and loved to play poker and being outside hunting and fishing.  James had a great love for his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and stepson Robert Hunt.

Survivors include his wife Lorna of the home, his children Mark (Leann) Croney of Cross Timbers, Mo; Amy (Robert) Sagaser of Atchison KS; Susan (Glenn) McMillian of St Joseph MO; James (Hilary) of Gower MO; 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  Sisters Linda Ellett, Patty Grisham and brother Larry Croney.
