Jakob J. Grayson 34 of Kansas City Missouri formerly of Lathrop Missouri died Wednesday Jan 29, 2025, at a Kansas City Missouri Hospital.  Born on November 2, 1990, in Smithville Missouri.  Jakob was a graduate of Lathrop High School class of 2009.  He was a member of the Kansas City Downs Syndrome Guild, Special Olympics and attended Camp Rainbow. Jakob never met a stranger, he would say "hi I'm Jakob" as he reached out to shake your hand.  He loved his family and loved to sing, dance and tell (lies) stories.

He was preceded in death by his sister Johtena Grayson, his grandfather James "JD" Grayson and his uncle Charles Grayson.

Survivors include his mother Sharon Grayson of Lathrop Missouri; his brothers Justin (Elisha) Grayson of KCMO; Joshua (Natalie) Grayson of Lenexa Kansas; Jared Grayson of Overland Park Kansas; His grandmother Saretta Grayson of Lathrop Missouri and a host of nieces, nephews relatives and friends.

Healing farewell services will be held 11:00AM on Friday February 7, 2025, at the Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service Plattsburg Missouri. Interment will be in Mt.
