Howard Lynn Carder 72 of Plattsburg Missouri died Tuesday August 29, 2023, at Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph Missouri.  Born on September 15, 1950, in Gallatin Missouri to Howard G. and Opal I. (Rowland) Carder.  He was a high school graduate and a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving in Vietnam.   He was a member of the American Legion Post# 97 and VFW Post both of Plattsburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents and niece Leasa Linthicum.

Survivors include his sons Derek (Rachel) Carder of Columbia Missouri; Darren Carder of Las Vegas Nevada;  4 grandchildren, sister Sandra Linthicum of Lathrop Missouri; niece Treasa Linthicum and nephew Steven Tate and numerous family members and friends.
