Gwen Marie Starkey 61 of Polo Missouri passed away Monday January 2, 2023 at her home  in Polo with her family by her side.  Born on December 19, 1961 in Salina Kansas to Floyd and Doris (Gettel) Jones.  Gwen was a high school graduate and received her Master's degree in Business Administration from Park University.  She retired from Ford Motor Co., after 30 years of service.  On December 6,1997 she married Troy Starkey.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Troy Starkey of the home.  Two daughters April (Daniel) Shaver of Kansas City , Missouri and Valerie Mills of Lexington Missouri.  Four grandsons Nicholas, Donavan, Ethan and Malakai; and 3 sisters.
