Frederick William "Bill" Stocklas, 83, Plattsburg, Missouri, left his earthly home for Heaven on December 24, 2023. He was the youngest child of Albert and Rena (Parks) Stocklas born November 26, 1940, in St. Louis, Missouri. Bill married Brenda Heisler on July 26, 1964. She preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his parents and sister, Rena Gay. Survivors include daughters, Beverly Krueger (Kurt) of Daphne, Alabama, and Barbara Elder (Jason) of Poughkeepsie, New York; sisters MaryJo Worley and Ann Kunstel of St. Louis, Missouri; and five grandchildren.
Bill was a member of the Plattsburg community for over 60 years, worshiping at the First Presbyterian Church of Plattsburg. Bill provided for his family through his work as a pilot. He volunteered regularly at the Plattsburg Senior Center and was always willing to help a neighbor in need. He loved his family and his Savior and will be terribly missed.
Farewell Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 4, First Presbyterian Church of Plattsburg. Interment will follow at Lathrop Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 9:30 A.M.
