Erik Weida 51 of Lathrop Missouri died Sunday February 13, 2022, at a Liberty Missouri Hospital.  Born on February 24, 1970, in Smithville Missouri to Philip and Debra (Wittfeld) Weida.  He was a high school graduate and attended college.  Erik was a Christian.  On August 5,2000 he married Jaimie Rounds.  Erik loved music and played the guitar, he also loved playing with and being around his grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife Jaimie of the home; mother and Stepfather Debra and Sam Dotson of Smithville Missouri; Sons Trevor (Jenny) Rounds of Lathrop Missouri; Taylor (Jessica) O'Connor of Blue Springs Missouri; Anthony (Joni) Weida of Lathrop Missouri; daughters Holly and Lilly Weida both of Lathrop Missouri and Paige Brown; brother Jason (Yamelly) Weida of Overland Park Kansas; stepmother Joyce Weida, stepsister Lacey Flynn; 8 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 12:00noon Monday February 21, 2022, at the Holt First Baptist Church, Holt Missouri.  Interment will be in the family cemetery.   The family will gather with friends Monday from 10:00am until 12noon at the church.  Arrangements Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service Plattsburg Missouri.
