Elbert W. "Bill" Morrison 91 of Lawson Missouri died Wednesday November 7, 2018 at his residence. Born on August 17, 1927 in Clinton County Missouri to Elbert and Eula Maude (Genson) Morrison. Bill was a Veteran of the United States Army and a member of the New Direction Church Holt Missouri and Campers on a Mission. Bill also worked for Mid America Trucking for over 30years. He spent a lot of his retirement time helping others and volunteering doing mission work, building churches and schools. Bill never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois Faye Morrison.
Survivors include his children Sherry Lynne "Howard" Farwell of KCMO; Kathy Faye "Trevor" Ralston of KCMO; Kristy Lee Morrison of Plattsburg, MO; William Scott Morrison of KCMO; 7grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. His sister Georgia Faye Goodheart; nephew William Todd "Lisa" Goodheart.
Healing farewell service will be held 2:00pm Monday November 12, 2018 at the Bailey & Cox Funeral Home Plattsburg. The family will gather with friends 1hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Bill will be cremated following the service with inurnment in the Green Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
