Don Amos 90 of Plattsburg Missouri died Saturday March 31, 2018 at a healthcare center in Gladstone Missouri. Born on Sept. 16, 1927 in Clinton County Missouri to Jess C. and Erma M. (Barton) Amos. He attended school in Plattsburg and was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Don was a master Plumber and a member of the First Presbyterian Church and American Legion Post 97, both of Plattsburg. On July 16, 1950 he married Violet Faye Dubry.
Don was preceded in death by his wife, parents and 2 brothers Jim Amos and Jess Amos Jr.,
Survivors include his sons Jerry Amos of Pleasant Valley Missouri ; Bob ( Jeana) Amos of Gladstone Missouri. Five grandchildren Tish, Troy, Tiana, Robb and Tim Amos; 5 great grandchildren Cadyn, Keaton, Taylor, Avery and Bert. His sister Louise Friedman, 2 brothers Ward and Jack Amos.
Healing farewell services will be held 2:00PM Thursday April, 5, 2018 at the Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service Plattsburg. Interment in the Green Lawn Cemetery Plattsburg. The Family will gather with friends 12:30 to 2:00 PM Thursday April 5, 2018 at the funeral home. The family suggest memorial gifts to the Cross Roads Hospice or the Plattsburg Senior Center.
