Darrell G. Thornton 39 of Plattsburg Missouri died Wednesday April 5, 2023, at a Cameron Missouri Hospital. Born on April 22, 1983, in Kansas City Missouri to Darrell G. and Kathy (Reimund) Thornton Sr.  He was an avid KC Chiefs fan, he also loved to go arrowhead hunting and cooking was his passion.  He made friends with everyone, never met a stranger. Darrell loved politics and the news.  He was a family man. On June 21, 2018, he married Rashell Hiser.   He was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his wife Rashell of the Home; three children Liam, Lily Anna, and Leah; his mother Kathy Thornton of Holts Summit MO; sister Misty Thornton of Neosho MO; brother Robert Thornton of Clinton MO., and his nephews and nieces and extended family.

A celebration of life will be held 1:00PM Friday April 14, 2023, at the Bread of Life Church Plattsburg Missouri.  Mr. Thornton has been cremated under the direction of the Bailey & Cox Family Funeral Service Plattsburg Missouri.  Online obituary and guestbook at www.baileycox.com
