Charlotte R. Ballard, 85, Plattsburg, Missouri passed away Thursday, December 20, 2018, at North Care Hospice House.
She was born October 27, 1933, to Gilbert William and Mary Catherine (Hayes) Gregg in Frankfort, Kansas.
Charlotte married Charles William Ballard on June 1, 1957. He preceded her in death March 20, 2016.
She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, a member of the Red Hat Society, past president of Beta Sigma Phi, and an election official. Charlotte's favorite job was being a mom and grandma.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one sister; and two brothers.
Survivors include her children, Patty Tomlin (Don), Gladstone, Missouri, Bill Ballard, Kansas City, Missouri, Barbara Veith (Tom), Parkville, Missouri, and Janet Leonhardt (Richard), Tega Cay, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Tara Tomlin, Matt Veith, Meghan Tomlin, Taylor Leonhardt, Luke Leonhardt, and Dawn Easley; and one great-grandchild, Breanna Easley.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 A.M. Friday, St. Ann's Catholic Church. Inurnment at a later date. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. with Parish Rosary to follow Thursday, Bailey and Cox Family Funeral Service.
