Charles E. "Bud" Shoemaker, 92, Plattsburg, Missouri passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Oakridge Convalescent Center.
Bud was a life-long resident and farmer of Plattsburg and a Veteran of WWII.
He was born July 28, 1925 in Plattsburg, Missouri to William Floyd and Maude (Kelly) Shoemaker.
Bud was a farmer his entire life and was also a corn seller. He loved being around the public. Bud was a 50 year Mason of the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Maurice Shoemaker.
Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Betty Lou; daughters, Susan Burton, and Charlene Switlik; 6 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. Farewell Services 3:00 P.M. Saturday, Bailey and Cox Family Funeral Service. Interment Brethren Cemetery, Plattsburg, Missouri. The family will receive friends 1:30-3:00 P.M., Bailey and Cox Family Funeral Service.
