Brenda Joy Stocklas, 79, Plattsburg, Missouri, passed away Monday, September 12, 2022, at Liberty Missouri Hospital.

She was born on January 12, 1943 to August and Delma (Heuer) Heisler in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Brenda married Bill Stocklas on July 26, 1964. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Plattsburg and Missouri Retired Teachers Association. She was a former board member of the Plattsburg Senior Center. She was also on the Senate Bill 40. Brenda taught for over 30 years in the Clinton County RIII School District.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Heisler.

Survivors include husband, Bill; daughters, Beverly Krueger (Kurt) of Daphne, Alabama and Barbara Elder (Jason) of Poughkeepsie, New York; sister, Barbara Tobin of Spokane, Washington; and five grandchildren.

Farewell Services are at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, First Presbyterian Church in Plattsburg.  Interment is at Lathrop Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at 9:30 A.M.
