Billy S. Tippit 72 of Plattsburg Missouri died Saturday May 2, 2020 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born on Aug. 29, 1947 in Tucumcari New Mexico to Bill Jack and Violet J (Dockery) Tippit. Billy was a high school graduate and a member of the First Baptist Church of Plattsburg and a member of the NRA. Billy was shop foreman for Sur-Gro Inc., where he was employed for over 40 years. On Aug.1, 1970 he married Vickie Belt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Harold Tippit.
Survivors include his wife Vickie Tippit of the home, two daughters, S. LeAnne (Rob) Orton of Trimble, MO., Robyn R. (Joe) Neuerburg of Liberty MO. His grandchildren Ashton, Taylor and her husband Brad; Sydney, Emma, Drew, Will and Natalie. His brother Jack (Janet) Tippit of Lathrop MO; and several nieces and nephews.
Farewell service at First Baptist Church (service will also be live streamed) at 11:00am Thursday May 7, 2020. Interment will be in the Green Lawn Cemetery Plattsburg Missouri. The room will be open on Wednesday May 6, 2020 from 4-8pm at the funeral home. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Building Project of First Baptist Church or Isaac's Dream.
